2025

PAL 2025-26 invites artists from East Asia and locally from Wales, to conduct performance art on natural and outdoor heritage sites in the region. These sites, including nature reserves, coastal scenery and tourist attractions,  cultural heritage such as castles and abbeys, construct an inspiring space to incubate new understandings through curatorial and artistic discussions. Both local and international artists will be working together to produce site-specific performance artworks, which will be thereafter disseminated through screening events, exhibitions, symposiums, etc., locally and internationally.

Bridging Cultures Through Contemporary Art Practice

IVAE acts as a unique bridge to support and celebrate cross-cultural exchanges between the East and West in the context of contemporary art.

IVAE Archive

IVAE archive showcases the site-specific works, cross-cultural cases and special projects we curated in the past.
